In Urdu, the Falak-Numa means Like the Sky or Mirror of the Sky. One of the finest palaces of Hyderabad is located on a 32 acre, 19400 square meters area in Falaknuma.
Built by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra, it belonged to Paigah Hyderabad State but later it was owned by the Nizams. Built-in the shape of a scorpion with two stings spread out like wings, the main building is in the middle part. The architecture of the palace has been very significant that depicts that the Nawab was an enthusiastic traveler.
This beautiful palace has now turned into a seven-star hotel and is the only of its kind in Hyderabad.
